Birthday Pictures

We went to family dinner at Firehouse. Its Leah's favorite. She was so excited when she got the birthday treat this time. It was so yummy, I didn't object to her choosing it!
Then we met up with Grandpa and Grandma Rowley. They gave her this cute Tinker Bell doll, which she had to sleep with. She loves it.
We got home, and finally she got to open her presents. All day she asked me where her birthday was? Apparently "birthday" means "presents." She had so much fun, grandma and grandpa came over and watched her open her gifts.
I had no idea what to get her this year, thankfully Abby was there, and she picked everything out that we got her. I have noticed today that she is playing with this more than Leah is!
Leah has gotten so tall, that is was time for a big girl bike. Her face lit up when daddy brought it out for her. I can't believe she is already such a big girl. We had a fun day, in which she was very much spoiled, and had a lot of fun. Happy Birthday Leah!

She's 3!

My baby is 3 today, and I can't believe how fast time has gone. Leah is so much fun, she is so full of energy, and is (for the most part) happy. She loves to play with her cousins (and misses Lexie so much) and friends! She is such a girly girl, and loves to be dressed up, and her hair done. I will post birthday pictures, and her opening presents tonight, but I just wanted to do this before I forgot. Happy Birthday Leah, we LOVE you!

Rowley Family Campout 2009

Our campout was cut short this year, but fun nonetheless. We were next to this dirt hill, and couldn't keep the kids off of it, they had a blast. Nate was so excited that we were going real camping in the mountains, and not just in the backyard! Abby was just happy Grandma and Grandpa had the trailer and she didn't have to use the outhouse! We look forward to this week every year, and its a great break from our hectic lives, even if its just for a few days.

Verl Jensen Perry

Yesterday we attended the funeral for an amazing man. Rich's grandpa passed away this weekend. He lived a full and very active life up until the day he died. We love him and will miss him dearly.

This is Grandma with most of her great-grandchildren. She is amazing to me. Not for one moment the entire day, did a smile leave her face! We love you grandma, and you are in our prayers.

Another Happy Birthday!

Nate's Birthday was yesterday, he was so excited he could hardly stand to wait to open his gifts. I can't believe he is 5 already! He will be starting kindergarten in the fall, and is growing up so much. He is so tender hearted, he is the first to apologize or say I love you, and gives you a big hug and a kiss. He is such a good brother, and loves to show off for whoever will watch!
Rich was at work, but had picked out this shirt for him, Nate loves BumbleBee from the Transformers. He was so excited.
The only thing that he asked for was the BumbleBee helmet. As soon as he opened it, his eyes lit up, and he said " This is what I have always wanted!" It was so cute to see his excitement. He loves that it changes his voice and he can sound like a robot!
For dinner he picked Sizzler, just because he knew he would get a giant Root Beer Float. We were ordering our food and I asked what he wanted, and it was "My big Root Beer Float!" He was upset to learn he had to eat dinner first. We had a fun day, and ended the night watching the fireworks with his cousins in Hyrum. On the way home, he told me it was the best birthday ever! We love you, Happy Birthday Nathan!!!
