My poor baby got RSV, and it was the saddest thing I have ever had to deal with, with any of my kids. She was completely fine on Sunday morning. I got everyone up and off to church, and during Sacrament meeting I went to feed her. Which as soon as she was done, she threw up everywhere. So I went home and changed her and I (we were both just covered) and Rich stayed home with her so I could go back and teach my lesson. By the time I got home 2 hours later, she had a low grade fever and just didn't act like she fell great. She slept okay that night, but by the next day just wanted to be held, and eat all day. She continued to throw up, and I wondered if she had gotten some kind of flu from the kids bringing it home from school. That night I debated about taking her in to the doctor, but she finally slept so we waited til morning. The next morning, which happened to be Richs' birthday she woke up and just started coughing and couldn't stop. She tried to cough some more, but there was so much mucus in her throat it just created giant mucus bubbles. (sorry, probably more than you wanted to know.) By that point I was scared, and Rich said if you are worried just take her in. So we ran to insta care, where they ran every test, for pnemonia, RSV, influenza, and everything else. Sure enough it was RSV. They started her on some breathing treatments, and she didn't even move, she felt so crappy. Then they took her in for xray.

Sorry the pictures are not the greatest because they are off of my phone. They stuck her on this bicycle type seat, and told me to hold her arms above her head. Then they bucked this tube around her. By this point I just feel terrible for her, and Leah is with me, so she is starting to worry about her baby! Brylee didn't even cry, she just sat there. The technician said, it would help if she would cry so that they could see her lungs better in the xray. By about the 4th of 5th she started to fuss, and they had gotten what they needed. It just broke my heart to leave her in there.

We ended up bringing home a nebulizer and did breathing treatments every 4 hours for about a week. Rich and his dad gave her a blessing that night and she started improving so quickly. I was just so grateful that they didn't have to hospitalize her. She was back to her happy self completely by about 2 weeks later. I am so grateful for amazing friends and neighbors, I had friends showing up with food and dinners and treats for me!! They brought Brylee sweet little toys, I am always amazed at how generous people are. It helped so much. I am grateful for everyone that helped us, it made life a lot easier that I could just focus on my baby!!
